With the long weekend quickly approaching, traffic is anticipated to increase in and around construction zones. Although it is important to always be mindful around construction zones, we want to stress the need for extra caution around and during the long weekend ahead.

As traffic increases, so does risks. The Manitoba Heavy Construction Association wants to remind you to review safe work practices and procedures regarding road construction with your workers.

It’s important to ensure roadside workers are aware of their surroundings and always communicate changing traffic conditions.
